Book your Rabbit's Holiday today
Thank you for choosing us to care for your rabbit(s). The following terms and conditions are in place to ensure the health, safety, and well-being of all animals in our care. Please read them carefully. By confirming your booking and leaving your rabbit with us, you agree to these terms and conditions.
1.1. Booking Confirmation: A booking is only confirmed upon receipt of a non-refundable deposit. The deposit amount will be declared in your confirmation email.
1.2. Payment of Balance: The remaining balance of the boarding fee is due prior to the start of your boarding booking. If the booking is made within 7 days of the start date, the full amount is due at the time of booking.
1.3. Rates: Boarding is charged on a per-night basis, including the day of arrival and the day of departure. Our daily rates are available on our website/price list and are subject to change without notice. Generally, if your booking is confirmed I will honour the rate booked at.
1.4. Early Returns: No refunds or credits will be issued if you collect your rabbit earlier than the agreed collection date.
2.1. Cancellation by Client: * If you cancel your booking more than 14 days before the scheduled arrival date, your deposit will be forfeited, but no further charges will apply. * If you cancel your booking 14 days or less before the scheduled arrival date, the full boarding fee is non-refundable and non-transferable.
2.2. Cancellation by Us: We reserve the right to cancel a booking at our discretion. In the unlikely event we have to cancel a booking, any fees paid, including the deposit, will be refunded in full.
3.1. Vaccinations: All rabbits should be fully vaccinated against Myxomatosis, Rabbit (Viral) Haemorrhagic Disease 1 (R(V)HD1), and Rabbit (Viral) Haemorrhagic Disease 2 (R(V)HD2). This includes indoor only rabbits.
3.2. Proof of Vaccination: You must provide a valid, up-to-date vaccination certificate/card from a registered veterinary surgeon on or before arrival. Boosters must be administered at least 14 days before the boarding start date. Failure to provide proof of vaccination will result in refusal of admission, and the full boarding fee will be forfeited.
3.3. Health Condition: You must declare any pre-existing medical conditions, disabilities, or behavioural issues at the time of booking. We reserve the right to refuse admission to any rabbit that appears to be unwell, injured, or in poor health on arrival, this includes but is not exclusive to excessive poop around the back end, excessive matting and discharge from nose or eyes.
3.4. Parasites: We ask that your rabbit is treated for fleas and worms prior to their stay. If any rabbit is found to have fleas or mites, they will be treated by our vet at your expense.
4.1. Diet: To avoid digestive upset (such as GI Stasis), you must provide enough of your rabbit's usual dry food/pellets to last the entire duration of their stay. We will provide unlimited fresh hay, fresh water, and a daily portion of suitable fresh greens. Please don't bring excessive food/hay as I have limited storage space in the boarding lodge.
4.2. Medication: We are happy to administer medication as prescribed by a vet. All medication must be clearly labelled with your rabbit's name, the dosage, and the frequency, and must be in its original container. This may only be accomodated once declared before your visit due to restrictions on time during busy seasons.
5.1. Standard of Care: We will provide the highest standard of care and attention to all rabbits. All animals are checked frequently throughout the day. However, rabbits are delicate animals and can fall ill quickly.
5.2. Authorisation for Treatment: In the event that your rabbit becomes unwell, we will attempt to contact you or your emergency contact immediately. By signing these terms, you authorise us to seek veterinary treatment from our designated vet (or your own vet if practical) should we deem it necessary for the well-being of your rabbit.
5.3. Liability for Fees: You, the owner, are fully responsible for any and all veterinary fees incurred during your rabbit's stay. These fees must be settled directly with the veterinary practice or reimbursed to us upon collection.
5.4. Disclaimer: While every possible care is taken, rabbits are boarded entirely at the owner's risk. We accept no liability for injury, illness, disease, mites, parasites, or death that is not a direct result of our negligence. This is particularly relevant to conditions such as GI Stasis, which can be triggered by the stress of a new environment and is often not preventable.
6.1. Housing: All rabbits are housed in clean, secure, and appropriately sized accommodation.
6.2. Bonded Pairs/Groups: Bonded pairs or groups will be housed together. If serious fighting or aggression occurs that poses a risk to the animals, we reserve the right to separate them for their safety. An additional charge for the extra accommodation may apply. We cannot be held responsible for any injuries that occur between bonded rabbits.
6.3. Single Rabbits: Single rabbits will not have any contact with other boarders to prevent fighting and the spread of disease.
7.1. We reserve the right to rehome any rabbit that is not collected within 7 days of the agreed collection date if we have not had any contact from the owner or emergency contact. Any costs incurred in this process will be pursued.
8.1. Drop-off and collection times are by appointment only during our stated opening hours. Please be punctual. If you are late dropping off or collecting, please contact by telephone or WhatsApp message via 0894485149 to inform us and we will try and arrange a later time slot for you. Similarly, if you are early for your time slot, please contact us in advance to make sure that we are present and able to accomodate the earlier time slot.
9.1. We will keep your personal information, such as your name, address, and contact details, secure and will only use it for the purposes of our business. We will not share your data with any third party, except for our veterinary surgeon in the case of an emergency.
